Fr. Paul M. Keeling
Named publicly as accused on the Buffalo diocese's list updated 11/5/2018. Accused in a lawsuit filed under the NY Child Victims Act 9/13/2019 of sexually abusing a boy, ages 15-17, in 1983-1985. The boy was a Bishop Turner High School student and Keeler was Vice-Principal and Dean of Discipline. Keeling allegedly took the boy on overnight trips and gave him alcohol and cigarettes. Keeling taught 1974-1979 at Bethlehem Catholic High School in the Diocese of Allentown PA. Keeling was transferred in 1981 to the Buffalo NY diocese.
Fr. Paul M. Marconi
Accused in a lawsuit(s) filed in 2020 under the NY Child Victims Act. Director at some point of Our Lady of Fatima Shrine in Lewiston NY. Also worked in San Diego CA, Ontario Canada, Pala CA, and Campo CA. From 2008 until his death 2/15/18 assigned to the Barnabite Spiritual Center in Bethlehem PA and assisted in parishes in the Allentown Diocese and the Archdiocese of Philadelphia.
Fr. Gabriel M. Patil
Three men filed two separate suits in Allentown in 2004 alleging abuse by Patil when they were ages 7 to 9, 1978-1980, at Bethlehem Catholic High School. The boys lived in the neighborhood. Cases dismissed in 2005. Patil was promoted to Provincial Superior of his Order in 1990. Reportedly working as pastor of a church in Ontario Canada as of 2004. Went on to work in Buffalo NY, Youngstown NY, then India. Included in 8/14/2018 PA Grand Jury Report. Accused in a claim settled in 2020 in the low five figures of sexually abusing an altar boy, age 8, in 1992. The abuse allegedly occurred one time, at Assumption of the BVM in Northampton, where Patil was a fill-in priest. Patil is accused of reaching inside the boys pants and fondling him under the guise of helping him put on his altar boy robes.
