Fr. William L. Winston
Removed from ministry 11/4/2004. Winston was ordained an Episcopal priest in 1980. He was married with children when he was re-ordained as a Roman Catholic priest in 1986. He pleaded guilty in 2/2006 to beating his wife and to sexually abusing a then 11-year-old boy at ages 4-7, and said he couldn’t refute the boy’s claim that he touched him sexually. Sentenced to jail for 180 days in 5/2006. Laicized in 8/2007.
