Convicted 1992 of abuse of a teenage boy. Sentenced to 90 days in jail, five years probation, and one year treatment. Previously transferred twice because of allegations involving youths. Civil suit 1993. Living in New Mexico as of 2003 and listed in Official Catholic Directory as on “leave of absence.” Laicized 2005. On archdiocese’s list 4/26/19. Suit filed in 8/19 under the NY Child Victims Act, claiming abuse of a child, age 13-14, at Blessed Sacrament in West Brighton in 1989-90. Accused in a 12/19 lawsuit of abuse prior to ordination in the showers at St. Joseph’s Seminary of a boy, age 13, and that another person attempted a sex act on him at the same time.
