Accused by as many as 15 men of psychologically manipulating and sometimes sexually abusing them as boys in the 1970s, prior to his ordination, when he was a teacher at Oxford High School and camp counselor in Oxford. Placed on leave in 2002. Denied the accusations. Arrested twice in 2006 on charges he physically abused of his own mother and sister, with whom he was living. Charges dismissed. Fought to be reinstated as pastor until 2/08. Appealed to the Vatican. Died 10/7/11.
