Archdiocesan officials knew of abuse of a teenage boy in 1983 and contributed $10K to a settlement with the victim. Four suits filed in 2002 alleged abuse 1983-1997; removed from parish. Spent some time in a FL parish after the first settlement. Permanently removed from active ministry as of 10/2002. Laicized in 2004. Died in 2008 ion Sarasota FL. Included on the archdiocese’s list of accused in 2019.
