Esquibel (also spelled Esquivel) is alleged to have molested boys in several parishes before he was placed in a Chancery office job. Reoffended after treatment. Indicted in 10/1993 and charged with abusing a 15-year-old altar boy in 1983; charges dropped by judge in 2/1995 for lack of evidence. Worked as an Army Reserve chaplain from 1979. At least two civil suits filed in 1994. Included on the Santa Fe archdiocese’s list of accused 9/12/2017.
