Fr. James P. Hayes
Monsignor. First revealed on diocesan list 3/20/18 as removed, retired, or having left ministry after allegations of sexual abuse of a minor. (First erroneously id’d as James F. Hayes.) Died 11/30/88. In 8/19 a woman filed suit under the Child Victims Act, claiming Hayes starting molesting her when she was age 8 at All Saints in Riverside, and continuing through her eighth grade year. By 8/21 there were 13 lawsuits filed under the NY Child Victims Act with accusations against Hayes.
