Fr. Malachy M. McGinn
Monsignor. Member of the Salesian order in Ireland prior to ordination. Ordained in Ireland for the San Diego diocese. Name appears on a list of priests with credible allegations released by the San Diego Diocese 3/30/2007. Also worked in the San Bernardino diocese. Accused in 1993 of a sexual relationship with a 21-year-old female at Our Lady of Solitude in Palm Springs in 1968, per his personnel file released 10/24/2010. Died in 12/1997. Included on San Bernardino’s list 10/9/2018 of credibly accused, which notes that the Diocese was aware in 2002 of alleged abuse in 1969 and 1981.
