Sr. Casilda Pudei
First named publicly as accused on the Las Cruces diocese’s list 11/8/2018. It notes a report received in 1993 of abuse in 1957. Pudei was assigned to St. Edward’s School in Carlsbad 1956-1957. She died in 1987. (News accounts mistakenly categorize Pudei as a priest – the diocese’s list does not indicate that Pudei was a nun.) Included on the Santa Fe archdiocese’s list in 2/2024.
