Fr. George F. Zatarga
Placed on leave 11/30/07 after admitting to “inappropriate behavior” with as many as five youths in the 1970s. Victims included three brothers. Further allegations involved an 18-year-old youth and events in 2007. Sent for counseling. Zatarga kept a “travel log” of his 1976 trips with teenage boys and often mentioned their “unique physiques.” Died 8/28/11. On diocese’s list in 2/19.
