Fr. Francis T. Zuch
Accused in a 12/15/1995 lawsuit of sexually abusing two altar boys 1970-1975. The complaint alleges that Zuch “systematically” abused “numerous” altar boys “starting in the 1940s.” Some of the abuse allegedly occurred at a cabin on Clear Lake. The suit was settled by 2002. Zuch was director of Catholic Charities in the diocese 1935-1955. He died in 1993. Included on the diocese’s list 4/4/2019, which notes five allegations of abuse of boys in the early- to mid- 1970s.
