Br. Earl Johnson
Accused in a 6/08 civil suit of abusing a boy at St. Elizabeth’s in Kansas City for three years during the 1970s. Per the suit, on one occasion a priest closed a door to the room where the abuse was going on. Johnson left the order at some point and in 2008 was possibly working in Kansas City as a public elementary school teacher. Claim settled in 8/08 as part of $10M settlement involvning 12 priests. Included on the diocese’s 9/5/19 list.
