Fr. Christopher Rossman

Pastor of Annunciation parish in Baldwin City and St. Francis of Assisi in Lapeer when suspended in 9/2016 after reports to the Archdiocese that he had visited “inappropriate websites, including those depicting minors.” The Archdiocese said it notified the FBI immediately. Included on the Archdiocese’s list of accused 1/25/2019, which notes an ongoing law enforcement investigation. Charged in federal court in 7/2019 with child pornography possession. Pleaded guilty. Per investigators, Rossman’s sister tried to destroy his computer by running it over. The Archdiocese deemed the allegations substantiated and laicization was pending as of 3/6/2020. Sentenced in 7/2020 to 37 months in federal prison.
