Fr. Fidencio Simon Silva-Flores

From Mexico. Left the Los Angeles archdiocese without privileges 5/1/95. Sued by many in 2002. Accused of abuse of as many as 28 boys 1979-1985. Criminal charges dropped due to Supreme Court ruling. Likely returned to Mexico. L.A. archdiocese referred to him as Fidencio Flores Silva. As part of a 2007 $660M settlement with 508 plaintiffs, the archdiocese released Silva's personnel file 1/31/13. One alleged victim filed suit in 10/18 against the Vatican. Included on San Bernardino diocese's list 10/9/18. Assigned in 1998 to St. Philip Neri in Lynwood. Removed in 11/98. Reported in 5/19 to be working at a church in Mexico. Included in 8/21 on the Diocese of Fresno's list of credibly accused, where he was assigned 1987-1992.
