Rev. Thomas Adamson and the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis

Because of recent developments in John Doe 76C v. Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis, the terrible history of Rev. Thomas Adamson and the bishops who managed him will be scrutinized. In order to facilitate that process, we have launched the Adamson Project — the first phase of our examination of crucial cases in the Catholic sexual abuse crisis. Below we have posted the judge's recent order in John Doe 76C, along with the defendant's highly unorthodox Notice of Taxation. Next we have posted 515 pages from Adamson's personnel file. These documents were obtained in discovery by attorneys for Adamson survivors and were organized in chronological order to prepare for trial in the John Doe 76C case. The article by Bob Ehlert examines the first Adamson case.
