Died 12/1/1992. Accused in a 2002 OR suit of abuse of sisters in 1967 and 1968 at St. Luke’s in Woodburn; settled in 2003. Settlement the same year with another female. Named in a suit against the Jesuits in 2007, by a woman claiming abuse as a child by Duffy and Fr. James Poole in the mid-1960s. Included in 11/2007 settlement with the order. A woman filed suit in Yakima, WA in 6/2008. Settled in 820/08. Another woman settled a suit in 7/2012 with Yakima for $500K. Suit against Yakima in 3/2013 settled in 2/2014. Included on the Great Falls-Billings diocese’s list 8/21/2018. On the Jesuits West list 12/7/2018. It notes abuse 1949-1950, 1967-1969 and 1977-1978 reported in 2002, 2008, 2009. On Yakima’s list 7/9/2019.
