Suspended from ministry 1/19/2015 after credible allegations of the sexual abuse of a boy about 30 years prior. Few months prior to his removal the Archdiocese notified the District Attorney of concerns about possible past incidents. Kihm denied the allegations. At least one more person came reported ause, also 30 years before. Assigned to Our Lady of Lourdes High School 1987-1992; abuse said not to have happened there. Assisted and pastored a number of parishes. Sent to supervised setting for evaluation and risk assessment. No criminal charges due to the 5-year statute of limitations. Laicization announced in 3/2016. Moved out of New York state. Settlements with alleged victims in 5/2017 and 10/2017 as part of the Archdiocese’s compensation program. Included on the Archdiocese’s list 4/26/2019.
