High school teacher, boys’ camp director, parish priest. Salesians’ Eastern US Provincial 1985-91. Worked in MA, IN, NY, LA, FL, OH. Removed from St. Petersburg FL Catholic HS in 2002 after accusation of sexually harassing girl. Active at Marian Shrine, Stony Point NY by 2005. Order settled in the 2000s with a man alleging rape at age 14 on trip to Rome in 1975. Order announced in 8/09 settlement with 3 men alleging abuse in the late 1970s at Salesian Junior Seminary in Goshen, NY. Three others then came forward. At least 16 civil suits. Arrested 8/12 in NY, charged with rape of boy ages 9-10 in 1981-82 at Ipswich MA camp. Convicted 11/14. Sentenced to 8-10 years in prison. Convicted 8/15 of abuse of boy, ages 6-8, at the camp in early 1980s; sentenced to another 8-10 years’ prison, to run concurrently with term already serving. Added to New Orleans archdiocese’s list 12/19 (AP asked why it was missing). On Salesians list in 3/20. Added 2/20 to Columbus diocese’s list. Died 4/2/20.
