These depositions in searchable PDF format shed light on the Los Angeles archdiocese's handling of allegations that Rev. Michael Baker sexually abused boys. Baker had admitted the abuse to Mahony in 1986. But Mahony sent Baker for treatment and then reassigned the priest to a series of parishes, where he continued to offend. Curry was Mahony's Vicar for Priests (1986-1990), and Byrne led Mahony's review board. Below we provide articles on the deposition release and the Baker cases, followed by links to the depositions.
