Fr. John Patrick Barry
Named publicly as accused by the Galveston-Houston archdiocese on its list 6/18/2021. Assignments included St. Thomas High School and St. Anne's, both in Houston. Included on the Tucson diocese's list of credibly accused, where he was assigned 1968-1970 and 1980-1986. Barry died in 1986.
Fr. John T. Cherry
Accused in a lawsuit filed in 8/19 under the NY Child Victims Act of a 17-year-old in about 1968, while a teacher at Aquinas Institute. Assigned to Aquinas 1956-66. Died 2/21/73 in Gary, IN at age 53.
Fr. Jack Hanna
Taught at University of St. Thomas in Houston for 30 years and was head of Campus Ministry in the 1970s and 1980s. Took groups of students each summer to Merida, Mexico. Also taught at St. Thomas High School. Received his M.Div at St. Michael's College in Toronto, Canada in 1973. Named publicly as credibly accused of the sexual abuse of a minor(s) by the Galveston-Houston Archdiocese on its list 1/31/2019. Faculties removed in 2013. From 2013 until at least 2018 was Treasurer General of the Basilian Fathers Council in Toronto.
Fr. Robert James Klem
Accused in a claim settled in 2020 in the low six figures of sexually abusing a boy, ages 14-16, in 1968-70, while assigned to the Aquinas Institute in Rochester. The abuse allegedly occurred at least three times, at Klem's residence, at a house around Greece, NY and on a trip to Quebec, Canada. Klem was at the Institute 1958-84. Transferred to the Basilian Mission Center in Sugar Land, TX in the late 1980s. Retired in 2013, living at the Dillon House in Houston through at least 2019. He died in 1/21.
Fr. William Hodgson Marshall
Ordained in Canada. School principal in Toronto and Windsor 1952-56. Worked at St. Thomas High in Houston, TX 1956-57. Returned to Canada. Also did missionary work in St. Lucia. Allegation in 1998 of abuse in 1969. Retired in 1997. Treatment at St. Luke's. Charged in 2010 with abuse in Toronto and Windsor in the 1950s and 1980s. Pled guilty in 6/11 to abuse of 16. Sentenced to two years in prison. More suits in 12/11. Order denied any allegations of abuse during his time in Houston.

Fr. Raphael O’Loughlin
Named publicly as accused by the Galveston-Houston archdiocese on its list 1/31/19. Died in 1998. Per his obituary, O'Loughlin worked with Spanish-speaking families in Houston, Detroit, Mexico and Colombia, and was "a giant to kids."
Fr. Wilfred S. Riley
Accused in a lawsuit filed in 7/20 of sexually abusing a minor beginning in 1956, when the minor was age 15 and Riley was a teacher at Aquinas Institute of Rochester. Died 5/15/84.
