Wyoming News Now has received a statement from the Diocese of Cheyenne related to a lawsuit of alleging sexual abuse.
The lawsuit alleged that former youth minister Doug Hudson of Our Lady of Fatima Parish in Casper sexually assaulted three boys during youth programs in the 1990’s.
The complaint lists both the church and diocese as defendants for failing to supervise and control Hudson and protect the plaintiffs.

“The Diocese of Cheyenne has been notified of a lawsuit alleging sexual abuse in the mid-1990’s by an individual who served as a youth minister at Our Lady of Fatima Parish in Casper, Wyoming.
Because this matter is now the subject of active litigation, the Diocese is not in a position to comment on the specific allegations….
