Accused of abusing 9-12 boys over five years. A woman said she told Auxiliary Bishop in 1979 that Boyea had molested her son. A $12M civil suit was filed 11/86 on behalf of three victims; suit is believed to be sealed. In 8/85 Boyea pled guilty to one criminal charge and was sentenced to 10 years in jail. Petition to reduce sentencing denied 9/88. Released 1995. Lifetime listing on sex offender registry. Bishop Bornea withdrew from public ministry in 9/18 after admitting he failed to report Boyea's abuse in 1979. Boyea included on Green Bay diocese's list 1/17/19. It notes he went "on leave" in 1985, and was laicized in 1990. Also, multiple substantiated allegations of abuse in about 1977-85.

Laicized in 3/05. Convicted in 7/05; sentenced to 32 years in prison. Claimant rejected a proposed settlement but lost jury trial in 2007. Case dismissed. In 9/08, WI Supreme Court declined to hear appeal. Released in 5/12 due to conflict regarding changes to appellate law. Got court permission to live in Green Bay. Used loophole to live near park. In 2014, he was found living one block from victim's grandmother; was moved to state-run facility for criminal offenders on Green Bay's west side. On diocese's list 1/17/19. It notes he was on leave in 1989 and resigned from the priesthood in 1992.

In 7/18 the Salvatorian Provincial informed the Milwaukee County D.A. that a man had come forward, alleging sexual abuse by Eberhardy sometime during 1978-81, when he was about 11- to 14 years-old and an altar boy at St. Mary's in Chilton. He said the incident involved fondling and masturbation, and occurred during a trip to Six Flags amusement park, overnight in a camper at the priest's parents' home in Milwaukee. Eberhardy reportedly would take such trips with other altar boys, too.

Per the Order, it received allegations(s) against Schinkten in late 2020 or early 2021, of abuse in 1962. Long-time instructor of psychology at St. Norbert College. Taught high school in Philadelphia PA, and in Green Bay. He was also a counselor and horseback riding teacher at Camp Tivoli in Cecil in the summers of 1942-69. Died 12/14/76, age 61.

In 1992 a woman claimed in a lawsuit abuse by Schmidt when was ages 13-17 during 1968-72. The abuse allegedly included his taking pornographic pictures of her, forcing her to drink from a dog bowl, having a dog urinate on her, and assaulting her with a broom stick. Neighbors of the church at the time notified the Green Bay archdiocese about a young girl spending too much time at the rectory. The woman herself tried to inform the archdiocese in 1982 and she wrote to Archbishop Weakland in 1983. The suit was dismissed due to the statute of limitations. Schmidt retired in 1991 without faculties. He died in 10/05. On the diocese's list 1/17/19. Noted to have multiple substantiated allegations against him of abuse occurring 1968-79.

Pleaded no contest in 1991 to touching a man in a sauna. Charged in 9/2003 with three counts of felony second-degree sexual assault of a boy at Notre Dame Academy in Green Bay. The victim said that in 1988 Stein groped him several times in a swimming pool and hot tub at the Norbertine Abbey. Pleaded no contest in 8/2004. Sentenced to a year in jail (work release) and 10 years' probation in 12/2004. On WI Sex Offender Register 2/5/2012. On Jackson diocese's list 3/19/2019. On St. Norbert Abbey in WI list 7/19/2019. In notes multiple allegations, and that he left the abbey and ministry. Accused by another man of abuse as a boy in 1989, including forced oral sex. The man also alleged abuse by two other Norbertines. The Order agreed in 2009 to provide monthly payments to the man for counseling and medicine. They stopped payment in 5/2019. The man died by suicide at age 45 in 3/2020. Reportedly in 9/2021, Stein was working at a Milwaukee-area restaurant as a dishwasher. Name included in 10/2022 on the Chicago archdiocese's list of credibly accused. Included in the 5/23/2023 IL Attorney General's Report.

A 5/94 suit alleged that Stocker and Fr. Robert Thompson assaulted four boys 1963-67, with Stocker perpetrating most of the abuse, and Thompson watching and assaulting one boy. Lower court dismissed on SOL and that the First Amendment shielded the Diocese etc. from liability. Affirmed by Court of Appeals. Placed on leave by the Diocese in 1995. Stocker admitted in deposition that he had sexual contact with at least some of the victims. On diocese's list 1/17/19. Multiple substantiated allegations of abuse occurring 1960s, 1970s, 1980s. Resigned from priesthood in 1999, laicized in 2003.

Would stand naked in window of Grellinger Hall in Allouez (residence for retired priests) and flash a teen boy who was walking to school. Restricted from public ministry. Told investigators when arrested he was "already seeking treatment." Pled not guilty 5/23/2016. Pled no contest in 9/2016. Sentenced 10/28/2016 to 4 months in jail and 3 years supervised release. To register as a sex offender. Two prior arrests for indecent exposure, first in 1990 and one in 1993 when found by police "running around naked looking for others." Convicted in the 1993 case. On diocese's list 1/17/2019. Sentenced by Vatican to life of prayer and penance. Laicized in 2018. Arrested 1/29/2019 on probation violation for seeking out and having contact with children. Sentenced 1/25/2019 to 8 months jail. Died 12/10/2022.

Fr. Robert Bruce Thompson

A 5/94 suit alleged that Thompson and Fr. T. Stocker assaulted boys 1963-67. Per the suit, Stocker did most of the abuse while Thompson watched. Thompson allegedly assaulted one boy. Lower court dismissed on SOL. Affirmed by Court of Appeals. Thompson worked in the Green Bay diocese until he moved in 1984 to Tucson's St. Joseph Hospital.
